Spicy Peanut Plant-Based Chick’n Chow Mein

Spicy Peanut Sauce Ingredients:

  • ½ Cup Peanut Butter
  • ⅓ Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Hot Chili Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tsp. Chicken Salt

Chow Mein Ingredients:

  • Jada Chick’n Mix (prepared according to box)
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil (plus more for drizzling)
  • ½ Small White Onion, sliced.
  • 1 Cup Broccoli Florets
  • 1 Red Pepper, sliced.
  • 1 Cup Crimini Mushrooms, sliced.
  • 10 Oz. Cooked Chow Mein Noodles

Step-by Step Instructions:

  1. Stir all of the spicy peanut sauce ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Make JADA Plant-Based Chick’n Mix according to package
  3. Drizzle sesame oil on a pan over medium heat
  4. Shape & cook Chick’n pieces until golden brown. Set aside.
  5. In the same pan, drizzle a little more oil and add vegetables.
  6. Add 1 tbsp. Sesame oil and cook until soft. (about 10 minutes)
  7. Add chow mein noodles, peanut sauce, and chick’n in large pot.
  8. Heat for 2-3 minutes on low.
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro and Chicken Salt.
